2012 Olympic Games private number plates results

11/06/2012

Well, many off the registration numbers did not meet the reserve price the DVLA were hoping for with regard to the 2012 Olympic number plates that were held in the latest auction that took place in London last week.

Many of the Olympic Games style number plates were left unsold. A few of which being:

BOX 734M (BOX TEAM), RUN 734M (RUN TEAM), VAU 173D (VAULTED) amongst others of the same nature including many "12" current style registration marks.

No doubt they will be placed in to future auctions and may achieve the results DVLA hoped for when they arise again under the hammer.

Aside of this news the auction still had great results in general, and many fantastic personalised number plates were sold to proud owners from all over the country that attended the auction, or purchased plates over the telephone or internet ,over the three day event.

The next DVLA auction will now be held at: Mercedes Benz World, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0SL. This will take place on 6th, 7th and 8th September 2012.
