The next DVLA aution will be held on the 5th, 6th and 7th of August 2009.
The auction will be held at RBS Williams F1 conference centre, Wantage, Oxfordshire.
Amongst some of the plates under the hammer this time will be:
GER 1Y, 1 HEY and 9 RXY.
In a previous DVLA number plate auction 1 D became the third most expensive UK car registration ever sold when it achieved a hammer price of £285,000. With fees and Taxes included the full cost of the number plate was a spectacular £352,411.
Although it was not the most expensive UK number plate ever sold, taking second place behind F 1 which achieved a price of £440,625 in 2008, 1 D did set a new record for the most expensive private number plate plate sold at a DVLA auction ever so far.
